Rug from Santiago del Estero – Handcrafted Warmth with a Story
This unique rug is handmade in Santiago del Estero, northern Argentina, on a traditional Criollo loom. It is made from 100% hand-spun wool and dyed with natural mineral pigments, resulting in a dense, soft flat weave with a timeless black-and-white pattern that adds character and depth to any space.
Each rug is a one-of-a-kind piece – ethically made in direct collaboration with a skilled weaver. Combining rustic charm with natural elegance, it keeps your feet warm while bringing authentic Argentinian craftsmanship into your home.
With your purchase, you support livelihoods with limited resources in northern Argentina and help preserve Argentina’s traditional weaving art.

- 100% Argentinian sheep’s wool (with hand-made textured tassels)

Care instructions: Vacuum regularly on both sides, do not place in direct sunlight (to preserve the natural dyes), wipe stains with a damp cloth (possibly dipped in mild soap), professional cleaning recommended, anti-slip mat recommended (e.g. made of jute)
