VERANO – Handwoven wool rug full of summer colours and Andean spirit

The VERANO rug captures the feeling of an endless summer – the heat of the earth, the radiance of a cloudless sky, and the vibrant hues of Andean flowers and rock layers. With its warm earthy tones and bright pink and orange stripes, it evokes the dry summers of the Andean highlands – intense, clear, and full of life.

Each rug is carefully handwoven on traditional looms using 100% Argentinian sheep’s wool. The wool comes from freely grazing sheep and is crafted by a cooperative in northern Argentina. Some shades are created with plant-based pigments – making every rug a truly unique piece.

Through fair trade, the cultural heritage of the weavers is preserved, and their work supports sustainable development in the vulnerable Andean regions.
