TRIÁNGULOS – Handwoven wool rug with graphic balance

The TRIÁNGULOS rug is defined by its bold geometric language. Its rhythmic triangle pattern is inspired by traditional Andean motifs that have symbolized balance, order, and protection for centuries. With its clear lines and strong contrasts, the rug feels both ancient and contemporary – rooted in heritage yet perfectly suited for modern interiors.

The interplay of shape and surface gives TRIÁNGULOS a striking visual depth. The repeating triangles create structure and movement without overwhelming the space, making the rug a powerful yet calm design element. It blends seamlessly into minimalist, modern, or natural living concepts.

Each rug is carefully handwoven on a traditional creole loom using 100% Argentinian sheep’s wool. The wool comes from freely grazing sheep in northern Argentina and is locally processed to preserve its natural warmth, durability, and character.

As a flat-woven rug, TRIÁNGULOS is lightweight, robust, and well suited for everyday use. The compact weave ensures longevity while the natural wool contributes to a comfortable and healthy indoor climate.

Every TRIÁNGULOS rug is produced in collaboration with a cooperative in Argentina. Through direct and fair trade, the project supports artisans and their families in vulnerable situations, helps preserve ancestral weaving techniques, and creates sustainable economic opportunities.

Production:

Hand-spun and handwoven – approx. 4 weeks manufacturing time

• 100% pure Argentinian sheep’s wool

• Firm yet pleasant texture

Natural white (undyed) combined with dyed wool
